Pakistan Auto Show 2021 is about to commence later this month. Meanwhile Lucky Motors Corporation (LMC) has also made things official with French car brand Peugeot. It launches the official Website and Social Media handles including Facebook, Instagram, and YouTube of Peugeot Pakistan, making the country�s auto enthusiasts curious about which cars the brand is going to launch. It is not the first time Lucky Motors is introducing a car brand, it has successfully launched KIA brand in Pakistan and emerged as one of the most popular Auto manufacturers in the country.
After the success of KIA Lucky Motors Corporation, Lucky Group is set to introduce Peugeot cars in Pakistan under Peugeot Lucky Motors Corporation (PLMC) brand. The brand is already gaining a lot of traction due to their cars being rolling around in different cities. The company is currently testing three crossover SUVs on Pakistani roads, Peugeot 2008, Peugeot 3008 and Peugeot 5008. These Peugeot cars will also showcase at the Pakistan Auto show this year. Peugeot 2008
It is a subcompact crossover SUV that competes against Lucky Motor Corporation�s (LMC) own Kia Stonic, and the MG ZS. It will be driven by a 1.2-liter turbocharged 3-cylinder petrol engine that produces 131 horsepower and 220 Newton-meters (Nm) of torque via a 6-speed automated transmission to the front wheels.
The futuristic cabin of a modern Peugeot is one of its most enticing features. The SUV will feature Peugeot’s new 3D i-Cockpit, which includes a 7-inch HD capacitive touchscreen and configurable head-up instrument panel. Moreover, a keyless entry and start, multiple drive modes, a panoramic sunroof, a modern infotainment unit with mobile phone connectivity, and several other high-tech features are also present. Peugeot 2008 Price in Pakistan will be around Rs. 4.5 million to 5 million.
Peugeot 3008
The Peugeot 3008 is a compact crossover SUV that competes with the Hyundai Tucson, MG HS, Proton X70, DFSK Glory 580, and Kia Sportage. The SUV will come powered by a 1.6-liter turbocharged 4-cylinder petrol engine with 162 horsepower and 240 Nm of torque that will be sent to the front wheels or all four wheels (depending on the model) via a 6-speed automated transmission. A hybrid version of the 3008 SUV, which is more powerful and efficient will also join the lineup soon.
It also has an i-Cockpit, which has the same technology and features as the 2008 SUV. But, with a more up-market Focal 10-speaker sound system, a larger infotainment unit with Android Auto and Apple Carplay. An inboard navigation system informs of various traffic zones, speed-cam zones, parking spaces, and more. Peugeot 3008 price in Pakistan is yet to be announced by the company.
Peugeot 5008
The 5008 SUV is a midsize 7-seater crossover SUV will compete with the Kia Sorento and Toyota Fortuner. It has 7 passenger seats. A new 10?? HD central touchscreen, a 12.3?? head-up digital instrument panel, heated, ventilated, and messaging front seats. Additionally, a multi-zone temperature vents for rear-seat comfort, adds up to the convenience amenities. The SUV draws power from 1.6-liter turbocharged 4-cylinder petrol engine that produces 162 horsepower and 240 Nm of torque. The power will be conveyed to the front wheels or all four wheels through a 6-speed automatic transmission.
Peugeot Lucky Motors will be introducing the Peugeot 2008 by the end of 2021 in Pakistan. While the other two Peugeot cars will arrive by the mid of 2022.
