Gold and Silver Prices Declined Again Across Local and Global Markets

Gold prices in Pakistan dropped significantly on Wednesday. These rates followed a downward trend in international markets and interbank exchange rates.

According to the official data released by the All Pakistan Sarafa Gems and Jewelers Association bullion rates fell across all categories.

  • 24 Karat Gold (Per Tola) decreased by Rs. 11,300 to settle at Rs. 454,036.
  • 24 Karat Gold (Per 10 Grams) dropped by Rs. 9,688 to stand at Rs. 389,262.
  • 22 Karat Gold (Per 10 Grams) fell by Rs. 8,811, reaching Rs. 356,836.
  • Silver (Per Tola) recorded a decrease of Rs 270, priced at Rs. 6,859.
  • Silver (Per 10 Grams) dropped by Rs. 231 to Rs. 5,880.

International Market Shifts

Global commodity markets also reflected a downward trend. It directly influenced local bullion rates.

  • International gold fell by $113 to trade at $4,315 per ounce.
  • International silver decreased by $2.70 to settle at $63.80 per ounce.
