Gold Price Surges Rs 6,900 Per Tola in Pakistan

The price of 24-karat gold has risen by Rs 6,900 per tola in Pakistan. The increase comes a day after gold had fallen by Rs 3,800 per tola, according to.

According to the All Pakistan Sarafa Gems and Jewelers Association, the price of 24-karat gold today increased to Rs 460,336 per tola from Rs 453,436.

The price of 24-karat gold per 10 grams rose by Rs 5,914 to Rs 394,663. The price of 22-karat gold per 10 grams increased by Rs 5,423 to Rs 361,787.

International Gold Rates

The international gold rate also increased on Friday. The rate shown by the association rose by $69 to $4,378 per ounce.

Reuters reported that international gold reached around $4,378.19 per ounce on Friday as prices gained for a second consecutive session.

Silver Rates

Silver prices also recorded an increase in the domestic market. 24-karat silver rose by Rs 300 to Rs 7,169 per tola. The price of 24-karat silver per 10 grams increased by Rs 257 to Rs 6,146.

The international silver rate increased by $3 to $66.91 per ounce, according to the association’s rate card.
