Major Drop in Gold Price; Down by Rs 12,800 Per Tola

A significant drop in gold prices was recorded in both global and local markets within a single day

According to the All Pakistan Sarafa Gems and Jewelers Association, the price of 24-karat gold per tola fell by Rs 12,800 to Rs 438,136, while the price of 10 grams of gold decreased by Rs 10,973 to settle at Rs 375,631.

Meanwhile, the price of silver per tola also decreased by Rs 325, falling to Rs 6,578.

The International Market Rates

In the international market, the price of gold per ounce dropped by $128 to $4,156.
