BISE Lahore & Faisalabad 2023 Passing Ratio: Lower than Expected?

In a surprising turn of events, the Lahore Board of Intermediate & Secondary Education (BISE) has declared the results of the Intermediate Supplementary Examinations 2023, sending shockwaves through the academic community.

The statistics reveal a challenging scenario as only 35.75 percent of the examinees managed to secure passing grades. Out of the 53,000 students who participated, a mere 18,000 candidates emerged successful, leaving a staggering 64 percent, or 35,000 students, grappling with failure.

BISE Faisalabad echoes a similar tale of disappointment, with a pass rate of only 38.79 percent. Among the 24,033 male and female students who took the exam, a modest 9322 candidates clinched victory.

The educational landscape is undoubtedly facing a critical moment as students and parents grapple with these unexpected results. The impact is felt not just at an individual level but reverberates across communities and educational institutions.

In related news, the Punjab Boards Committee of Chairmen (PBCC) has thrown a lifeline to students by extending the deadline for submission of admission forms for the Secondary School Certificate (Matric) Annual Examination. Applicants can submit their forms with a single fee until December 22. However, those opting for double and triple fee submission now have until January 05, 2024, and January 13, 2024, respectively.

This extension provides a valuable opportunity for students to navigate the challenging educational landscape and ensure a smoother path toward their academic goals. As the sand continues to flow through the academic hourglass, students are urged to seize this extended window to secure their spots in the upcoming Matric exams.
