Karachi Schools Ramadan Timing Notification 2026 Released with Shorter Hours

The School Education Department Sindh has published the Ramadan timing notification 2026 of all the public and private schools. Single and two-shift schedules accommodate fasting, and the number of hours on Fridays is shorter. This is to be done at the provincial level to facilitate practices in Ramadan 2026 in Karachi and other places.

School Education Department Sindh has notified about the official Ramadan time in 2026 of the schools in the province. The new schedule can now be followed by parents, teachers and students during the holy month.

Single-shift schools run from 8:00 am to 12:30 pm Monday to Thursday. On Fridays, they operate from 8:00 am to 11:30 am.

Double-shift schools handle the morning shift from 7:30 am to 11:30 am Monday to Thursday. On Fridays, the morning shift shortens to 7:30 am to 10:30 am.

The afternoon shift in double-shift schools runs from 11:45 am to 2:45 pm Monday to Thursday. On Fridays, it adjusts to 11:45 am to 1:15 pm.

This Ramadan timing notification 2026 covers primary, secondary, higher secondary, and elementary levels in public and private institutions. Schools must follow these hours strictly.
