Meera Opens Up About Rejected Bollywood Offer Opposite Shah Rukh Khan

Pakistani actress Meera has made a surprising revelation, claiming she was once offered a lead role opposite Bollywood superstar Shah Rukh Khan in Yash Chopra’s iconic film Jab Tak Hai Jaan.

Showbiz actress Meera has again made headlines following her claim that she had allegedly been offered a lead role alongside Bollywood king Shah Rukh Khan in a big Indian movie.

The actress revealed it during her appearance on the Geo Podcast when she is currently promoting her upcoming film “Psycho” which is to be released during Eid-ul-Adha. She spoke with Mubashir Hashmi and shared some of her memorable experiences during her career journey.

In the conversation, Meera said that she has one of the best moments of her career when she performed with Indian actor Saif Ali Khan at the “Zee Cine Awards”.

Yet, the most impactful was when she revealed that she was once been considered for the lead role in another blockbuster film featuring Shah Rukh Khan, directed by Yash Chopra, called Jab Tak Hai Jaan. Meera added that she was not able to accept the offer because of some professional and personal reasons, and eventually, Bollywood actress Katrina Kaif got the job instead.

The statement has sparked renewed discussion among fans of both Pakistani and Indian cinema, with many revisiting Meera’s past appearances and cross-border film opportunities.
