The Government Hajj Scheme 2027 expected to open for applications in the coming days as the Government of Pakistan is likely to announce the Hajj Policy 2027 shortly. The upcoming policy expected to outline the application process, Hajj packages, expected costs, quotas, and payment schedule for intending pilgrims.
The government will be offering Hajj packages for both long and short durations again, providing travelers with the option to choose the duration that suits them best, reports said.
Government Hajj Scheme 2027 Expected Cost
The official Hajj Policy 2027 has not yet issued, but the reports indicate that the Hajj expenses in Pakistan will increased as compared to the previous year.
The expected package prices are:
- Long-duration Hajj package: Around PKR 1.2 million
- Short-duration Hajj package: Around PKR 1.3 million
The short-duration package will be more expensive because of extra costs for travel and accommodation to the short duration.
Hajj 2027 Payment in Installments
In an effort to make the pilgrimage more affordable, the government is also likely to implement an installment-based payment system for the applicants of the Government Hajj Scheme 2027.
Pilgrims are more likely to pay the expenses of the Hajj in two amounts, which will ease the financial burden on those who apply for the trip.
Pakistan Hajj Quota 2027
Reports indicate that Pakistan’s Hajj quota will be divided between the government and private schemes.
- Government Hajj Scheme: Approximately 107,832 pilgrims
- Private Hajj Scheme: 71,888 pilgrims through the 40% quota allocated to private Hajj operators
The final quota details will confirmed once the official Hajj policy is issued.
Overseas Pakistanis Eligible Under Government Hajj Scheme
The forthcoming policy also anticipates the possibility of pandemic Pakistanis applying for the Government Hajj Scheme 2027. The government scheme said to allow those who are eligible and reside abroad to apply and pay their Hajj money.
Who Can Apply?
Officials say only those who have gone through the mandatory Hajj registration will be able to file their applications when the window reopens for Hajj.
The registered applicants will have to go through the process of application and pay the installments as notified by the Ministry of Religious Affairs in the schedule.
Awaiting Official Hajj Policy 2027
The government has not officially declared the Hajj Policy 2027 yet, and all cost, quota and payment details have not officially confirmed. The Ministry of Religious Affairs announces the pilgrims in the news and they advised to stay alert for new application open and package details.
