Pakistan Celebrates Eid Milad-un-Nabi (PBUH) Today with Religious Enthusiasm

Pakistan is celebrating Eid Milad-un-Nabi (PBUH) on 12th Rabi-ul-Awwal today with traditional zeal, devotion, and nationwide public festivities

Cities, towns, and villages across the country are witnessing vibrant displays of religious zeal as citizens mark the blessed birth anniversary of Prophet Muhammad (PBUH).

Across the nation, public and private buildings, streets, markets, and mosques have been decorated with green flags, colorful lights, banners, and decorative arches.

The Central Procession in Karachi

In Karachi the central procession is set to begin from the New Memon Masjid at 3 p.m. and will culminate at Nishtar Park for a grand gathering. Sindh Chief Minister Syed Murad Ali Shah and provincial ministers would participate in the procession.

Strict security arrangements, alternative traffic diversions, and heavy vehicle bans have been enacted to facilitate safe celebrations.

Nationwide Events and Security Measures

Throughout the day, seminars, conferences and Mehfil-e-Naat gatherings will be held to highlight the life, teachings, and Seerah of the Holy Prophet (PBUH).

Rallies and processions are underway in various cities, including Lahore and Karachi, where participants recite Durood and distribute food and sweets among devotees

Official Observance and National Appeal

The government has declared a nationwide public holiday today to mark the occasion. On Tuesday the National Assembly unanimously passed a resolution urging federal and provincial governments to celebrate the day through high-level national programs, emphasizing the promotion of peace, tolerance, brotherhood, and the Sunnah of the Holy Prophet (PBUH).
