Honor Magic9 Series Reveals Designs, 11,000mAh Battery Reported for Super Edition

Honor has confirmed three phones for its Magic9 series ahead of the September 28 launch in Beijing. The company has revealed their designs, colors and memory options. It has also confirmed an 11,000mAh battery for the series.

Honor has confirmed that the Magic9 lineup will include the Magic9, Magic9 Pro Max and Magic9 Super Edition. The three phones are already available for pre-order in China. Honor will officially launch the series on September 28.

The company has also confirmed an ARRI camera collaboration for the Magic9 series. Its official launch page highlights ARRI LogC3 video, cinema-grade microphone recording, focus peaking and false-color monitoring. The series will also feature a 55-megapixel front camera with a square field of view.

Magic9 Series Models and Configurations

Honor’s Chinese pre-order listings confirm four memory options for the Pro Max, including 12GB+256GB, 12GB+512GB, 16GB+512GB and 16GB+1TB.

The Super Edition listing confirms that the model is available for pre-order, although Honor has not yet published its complete specifications.

11,000mAh Battery

Honor has confirmed that the Magic9 series will feature an 11,000mAh battery, but the company has not officially identified which model will use it.

Recent reports point to the Magic9 Super Edition as the likely model. The 11,000mAh capacity therefore remains unconfirmed for the specific handset until Honor provides further details.

Honor has also confirmed that MagicOS 11 will debut on the Magic9. The company says the system will include its Yoyo assistant with support for long-running tasks and automated services.
