With the deadline for the government’s Hajj scheme fast approaching, the Ministry of Religious Affairs and Interfaith Harmony has already received over 72,000 applications. The final date to apply is Tuesday, and designated banks are open to accept submissions until then.
Ministry spokesperson Muhammad Umar Butt shared that Monday and Tuesday mark the last two days for submitting applications under the Regular Hajj Scheme. He emphasized that applicants can even join their relatives’ Hajj groups for added convenience.
To apply, candidates must make an initial payment of Rs200,000. After the balloting, the second installment, totaling Rs400,000, including extra facilities, is due within ten days. The final payment must be cleared by February 10.
The ministry also shared good news for overseas Pakistanis. They can now sponsor Hajj applications for themselves or their family members. This initiative opens doors for more people to participate in this spiritual journey.
Umar Butt assured that these steps aim to make the process smooth and transparent. With the overwhelming response so far, it’s evident that many Pakistanis are eager to embark on this sacred pilgrimage.
If you haven’t applied yet, time is running out. Make sure to submit your application before the deadline and secure your spot for this year’s Hajj.
