Karachi: Sir Syed Flyover Lane Closed from Today for Development Work

Karachi Traffic Police has closed the Sir Syed Flyover lane towards Hassan Square from October 1. The closure will continue until development work ends. Traffic police have announced alternative routes for commuters.

Traffic travelling from NIPA towards Hassan Square should turn left at NIPA and use Rashid Minhas Road.

Traffic coming from Millennium Mall can turn right and reach its destination through Stadium Road.

Small vehicles heading towards Gulshan-e-Iqbal Blocks 1, 2, 5 and 13-D can use another diversion. They can turn right from beneath the NIPA Flyover. They can then travel towards Azizabad and Essa Nagri through Sardar Ali Sabri Road and the Rab Medical signal.

The same route is available for vehicles heading towards Essa Nagri and Azizabad.

Traffic Police to Manage Diversions

Karachi Traffic Police personnel will remain deployed at key locations and diversion points. They will guide commuters and help maintain traffic flow.

Traffic police have asked citizens to follow instructions from officers and use the alternative routes to avoid delays.
