Pakistan Muslim League Nawaz leader and former Prime Minister Shahid Khaqan Abbasi has tested positive for COVID-19.
As per family sources, Shahid Khaqan Abbasi was tested yesterday for Coronavirus. However, results were received today. According to reports, he is in self-isolation at his home.
Punjab government spokesperson Musarrat Cheema and PML-N President Shehbaz Sharif prayed for the speedy recovery of the former PM.
Earlier, PPP MPA Sharjeel Memon also tested positive for COVID-19 and went into self-isolation.
Last week, Mian Naveed Ali, the PML-N Punjab Assembly lawmaker, also tested positive for COVID-19.
Up till, several politicians including Sindh Governor Imran Ismail, National Assembly Speaker Asad Qaiser, ANP�s Ghulam Ahmad Bilour, Sindh education minister Saeed Ghani, Punjab Assembly Deputy Speaker Dost Muhammad Mazari and others had tested positive for COVID-19.
