The German Ambassador to Pakistan Bernhard Schlagheck took a ride on his 80-year-old bicycle to the Foreign Office. However, it was the occasion of the World Bicycle Day.
German Ambassador to Pakistan posted a video on Twitter, he elaborated the advantages of cycling on health and he also shared how the refreshing it felt when he did a bicycle ride till the Foreign Office.
Bernhard Schlagheck further added that “Cycling is quite fun and it is also good for health. Being physically active also strengthens the immune system�.
The United Nations officially recognized the World Bicycle Day on June 3 to recognize bicycling as an effective and inexpensive means of transport. However, it also assists in enhancing social mobility with health benefits.
