Heatwave to be expected this EID ul Fitar after a rise in temperature. Sherry Rehman, Federal Minister for Climate Change announced on Thursday that the provinces are issued an alert on heatwave warning.
She said that the hot spell has reached South Asia, and the expected temperature will escalate to 49-50 degrees Celsius. Further, she warned the public of the expected damage to the crops and human health. Hence, preventive measures should be taken into account, she said.
In several tweets, she notified informing the Ministry of Climate Change regarding the soaring temperature.
She took a charge of the previous government and said that they should have taken necessary measures to deal with the heatwave as it was warned of a prolonged heatwave being in the region.
Some of the necessary precautions can be taken during the hot summer.
1) Stay hydrated
2) Avoid sun contact
3) Cover your head to avoid the direct exposure
4) Wear and use light clothes
