How to Get a NADRA Juvenile Card for Children? Complete Procedure Explained

The National Database and Registration Authority (NADRA) has announced the complete procedure, fee structure, and delivery timelines for issuing Juvenile Cards to children under the age of 18, making it easier for parents and legal guardians to obtain identity cards for their children.

NADRA states that the child should be registered first before applying for a Juvenile Card. Once the applicant registers, he/she will hand in for a token. The child’s photo and fingerprints will be taken in the next step, and a biometric check of the father, mother or legal guardian is required.

Once the data entry is complete, an approving officer will review the application, said NADRA. The Juvenile Card will be issued once verified and payment of applicable juvenile fee has been made.

NADRA Juvenile Card Fees and Delivery Time

NADRA has introduced three service categories for the issuance of Juvenile Cards:

• Normal Service: Rs. 750 – Card delivered within 31 days
• Urgent Service: Rs. 1,500 – Card delivered within 23 days
• Executive Service: Rs. 2,500 – Card delivered within 9 days

Required Documents for a NADRA Juvenile Card

According to NADRA, the application can be submitted by the child’s father, mother, or legal guardian. The following information and documents are required:

• Biometric verification (fingerprints) of the parent or legal guardian
• Parent’s or guardian’s mobile number
• Email address
• Child’s computerized birth certificate details
