Karachi Eat Food Festival 2024: Starting January 12th at Clifton Beach Park

Karachi’s much-anticipated culinary and musical extravaganza, The Eat Festival, formerly known as Karachi Eat, is gearing up for its 11th edition, scheduled to take place from January 12 to Jan 14 at Beach Park in Clifton.

Promising an unforgettable experience for food enthusiasts and music lovers alike, the three-day festival is set to showcase an array of delectable treats from 120 eateries, including popular stalls like De Calzone, 75 Degree Hot, Yak Grill, Dear Croissant, Jani Biryani, E Street, Sweetistry, and Sombrero.

What sets this year apart is the introduction of the Bringing Emerging Artists Together (BEAT) Festival, a musical extravaganza designed to provide a platform for Pakistan’s rising musical talents.

Noteworthy is the festival’s commitment to supporting local businesses. Over the past 11 years, the event has empowered small businesses and home chefs, with this year seeing a remarkable 75% of stalls operated by home-based vendors.

This edition also sees the launch of EATSAPP by Eat Food Pakistan, a food discovery platform designed to extend beyond the festival. Users can rate, review, and discover new eateries throughout the year, providing a valuable resource for culinary enthusiasts.

Celebrating the success of its second season of “Beginnings with us,” where home chefs compete for a spot at Karachi Eat, the festival has crowned Ayesha Mughal, with her brand Aysh De Cuisine, for the second consecutive year. Her innovative dishes, such as rabri, chicken, and pizza-flavored gol gappay, will be available at stall number 76.

In the words of Omer Omari, “Over the years, it’s been very gratifying to have helped so many home chefs just by giving them the right platform.” The Eat Festival Karachi 2024 promises to unite the city through a fusion of gastronomic delights and compelling musical performances, showcasing the creativity and talent of participating eateries and foodpreneurs.
