Karachi residents can expect some relief from the recent heat as the Karachi weather update indicates cooler conditions over the next three days. According to the Pakistan Meteorological Department (PMD), sea breezes and increased cloud cover have reduced the intensity of the heat, making the city’s weather more comfortable.
The PMD’s Early Warning Centre has predicted cloudy and humid weather for the next three days in Karachi. There should also be a few drizzles of light rain throughout the night as well as some bursts of strong wind in various locations across the city. Conditions should be relatively mild as compared to the days before with the weather.
The latest weather update for Karachi indicates that moisture laden wind blowing from the Arabian Sea has reached upper and central parts of Pakistan whereas a western weather system is impacting the northern parts of the country where the maximum temperature will remain between 34°C to 36°C. These weather systems are temporarily reducing the heat in Karachi.
Most areas of Sindh will also see hot and humid weather conditions, the weather department said. Dust storms, thunderstorms and light rain will however occur in some places.
According to the PMD, the wind direction in the districts of Jacobabad, Qambar Shahdadkot, Larkana, Sukkur, Dadu and Jamshoro could be dusty, accompanied with thunderstorms and light precipitation in the daytime hours.
The public is urged to keep abreast of official weather warnings and refrain from unnecessary travel in areas of strong winds and downpour. People are also encouraged to take precautions to ensure their safety during the changing weather conditions.
Karachi Weather Update: PMD Advisory
The PMD has urged residents to monitor the latest Karachi weather update as weather conditions may change rapidly. Strong winds and brief showers can affect traffic and outdoor activities, while cloudy skies are expected to provide temporary relief from the summer heat.
