KP Government Increases House Requisition Allowance for Employees from BPS-3 to BPS-22

The KP House Requisition Allowance has been increased for government employees after the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa government approved revised monthly rates for officers and staff working in the provincial secretariat. The increase applies to employees from BPS-3 to BPS-22 and is effective from July 1, 2026.
The official notification from Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Finance Department states that the revised allowance will be granted to the employees of the Civil Secretariat, Chief Minister’s Secretariat and Governor’s Secretariat.
According to the notification, the increase will apply to employees and officers working in the Civil Secretariat, Chief Minister’s Secretariat, and Governor’s Secretariat, covering all grades from BPS-3 to BPS-22.
Under the revised rates:
- BPS-3 to BPS-6: Rs. 6,000 per month
- BPS-7 to BPS-10: Rs. 9,000 per month
- BPS-11 to BPS-13: Rs. 13,000 per month
- BPS-14 and BPS-15: Rs. 16,000 per month
- BPS-16: Rs. 18,000 per month
- BPS-17 and BPS-18: Rs. 21,000 per month
- BPS-19: Rs. 28,000 per month
- BPS-20: Rs. 35,000 per month
- BPS-21: Rs. 42,000 per month
- BPS-22: Rs. 52,000 per month
The Finance Department stated that the revised House Requisition Allowance rates have come into effect from July 1, 2026.
KP Increases Special Conveyance Allowance for Disabled Employees
The provincial government has also doubled the Special Conveyance Allowance for government employees with disabilities in another relief measure. Finance Department stated in another notification that the amount of monthly allowance has been increased from Rs. 6,000 to Rs. 10,000.
The Special Conveyance Allowance has also been updated, which also takes effect on July 1, 2026, to offer extra financial help for the disabled government employees in the province who are qualified for the program.
The recent ruling follows the KP government’s plans to improve employees’ welfare through greater provision for housing and transportation costs.
