Pakistan To Ease Domestic Air Travel Restrictions From November 10

National Command and Operations Center (NCOC) recommend revising the Pakistan domestic air travel restriction. The implementation of new policies will be effective from 10th November.

A press release informing NCOC meeting held on Wednesday over this subject. It is observe that due to large-scale vaccination by various countries, there has been a declining trend in all COVID indicators around the world. NCOC have decided to ease down the inbound travel restrictions.

As per reports, domestic air traffic will operate in full volume from November 10, 2021.

The mandatory vaccination for domestic travel in Pakistan implemented from October 1. However the travel policy and testing protocol related to the code has revised.

Under the revised rules, countries are categorize as ‘B’ and ‘C’, each category must meet certain Pakistan testing standards.

According to the NCOC, countries have placed in Category ‘C’ on the basis of “high positivity, daily COVID cases and low mortality and vaccination rates.

Armenia, Bulgaria, Costa Rica, Iraq, Mexico, Mongolia, Slovenia, Thailand, Trinidad & Tobago, and Ukraine are high risk countries.

Meanwhile, all other countries including high-risk countries in Category ‘C’, placed in Category ‘B’ with no inbound travel restrictions.
