The Punjab Ration Card Scheme is the initiative of Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz that aims to enable 150,000 needy families in the state directly. The eligible citizens are given a digital smart card of Rs 3,000 a month to shop at authorized utility stores and partnering outlets to buy basic groceries in a transparent and dignified way of supporting them socially.
New Punjab Ration Card system is transforming the manner in which families handle their monthly budgets. This program enables the industrial laborers and those in the daily-wage category of workers to purchase flour, oil, and pulses without having to take loans.
