Production of Samsung TV begins in their newly established plant in Karachi, Pakistan. The first television line-up facility in Karachi is up and running by Samsung Electronics in collaboration with R&R Industries.
Samsung is one of the largest Television manufacturers around the Globe, and its first TV line-up facility in Karachi is an exceptional move. The South Korean giant partners with R&R Industries for the TV production.
Initially, the plant can produce 50,000 TV sets, which will eventually increase to 100,000 within two years.
The Advisor to Prime Minister, Abdul Razzaq Dawood Tweeted about the facility while sharing some pictures of the plant.
Moreover, because of the scope of the project, the local partner company R&R industries estimates that it would generate over 700 jobs in Pakistan. The project’s annual business revenue is projected to be over Rs5 billion.
In a piece of related news, KIA Lucky Motors also signs an agreement with Samsung Gulf Electronics co. to assemble Samsung Mobiles in Lucky Motor Corporation?s existing plant. LMC is currently manufacturing KIA Cars in Pakistan, which is also a South Korean entity.
Moreover, other technology companies that currently manufacture in Pakistan include Tecno, Infinix, Itel, Vivo, Oppo, and Realme.
