The Securities and Exchange Commission of Pakistan (SECP) has officially approved a new digital and Shariah-compliant financing product named “Khudmukhtar Khatoon”, aimed at strengthening women entrepreneurship and improving financial inclusion across the country.
Women Business Loan Scheme in Pakistan – Key Highlights
The new initiative introduces a dedicated women financing program in Pakistan offering Rs. 100,000 to Rs. 1.5 million in asset-based financing. The scheme is designed to support women in starting and expanding small and medium businesses.
The financing can be used for:
- Purchase of machinery and equipment
- Business setup and expansion
- Acquisition of operational assets
Fully Digital and Shariah-Compliant Financing Facility
According to the official statement, the “Khudmukhtar Khatoon” financing product is:
- A fully digital women loan scheme in Pakistan
- Shariah-compliant SME financing solution
- Designed to promote financial inclusion for women entrepreneurs
The product will be launched by Walee Financial Services, making the financing process easier, faster, and accessible through digital platforms.
How to Apply for Women Loan in Pakistan
Eligible women entrepreneurs will be able to apply through the mobile application Hakeem. The application process will be fully online, allowing applicants to submit requests without visiting physical branches.
Repayment Plan and Terms
The financing will be repaid in equal monthly installments over a period of one year, making it suitable for small business owners and startup entrepreneurs.
