PAKISTAN: Noman Ali breaks 130-year-old record to become the oldest bowler with 100 Test wickets. Three wickets in the second innings of the ongoing first Test between Pakistan and Bangladesh helped Noman achieve the historic 130-year-old feat.

The 39-year-old reached the landmark after dismissing Bangladesh all-rounder Mehidy Hasan Miraz for 24 in the hosts’ second innings. The breakthrough took Noman to 100 Test wickets and placed him among an elite list of Pakistan bowlers to achieve the feat.

Noman claimed his historic 100th wicket by dismissing Bangladesh all-rounder Mehidy Hasan Miraz for 24 in the second innings. The ball spun sharply, finding the edge and going to the slip fielder.

He finished the innings with three wickets, also accounting for skipper Najmul Hossain Shanto and Taijul Islam in a pivotal spell.

Pakistan’s all-time leading Test wicket-taker remains legendary fast bowler Wasim Akram with 414 wickets, followed by Waqar Younis with 373 and former captain Imran Khan with 362.
