PCB Future Stars Talent Hunt Program 2026: Trials Begin February 11
The search of the next stars of Pakistan cricket starts in the official way in the next month. The PCB Chairman Mohsin Naqvi has approved the PCB Talent Hunt program 2026 which is all about developing the players in the long run. The open trials will be conducted between February 11 and May 1 in big hubs like Karachi, Lahore, Multan, and Peshawar.
Former Test stars Aaqib Javed, Misbah-ul-Haq, and Abdul Razzaq will lead the selection process. This panel will visit 15 cities to identify raw talent. They aim to select nearly 350 players nationwide. Each region will shortlist up to 24 top performers for advanced mentoring.
Aspiring cricketers have immediate incentives to perform. The best batsman, fast bowler, and spinner at each trial venue will win on-the-spot cash prizes. Shortlisted players will then enter a four-week specialized training phase. This program ensures that local talent receives elite coaching early in their careers.
The PCB is currently developing 16 new regional academies to support this initiative. Every region will have dedicated grounds and modern facilities available year-round. These academies will cater to Under-15, Under-17, and Under-19 tiers. The goal is a comprehensive nursery for talent that feeds directly into the national pipeline.
The best of the regional camps will get invitations into the National Cricket Academy (NCA). This route has guaranteed a lasting connection with the domestic circuit and PSL franchises. The Pcb talent hunt program 2026 plan will guarantee that all the youthful talent in the nation gets an equal opportunity to the spotlight.
