The Pakistani Automotive Development policy 2016-2021 successfully barges several new Auto manufacturers to look towards Pakistan. The Automotive Industry Development and Export Plan (AIDEP) 2021-2026 is continuing the success. New products are coming in, and new entrants are sweeping into the local market.
The new strategy aims to promote automobile production in the United States. As a result, it offers a thorough summary of the perks offered to all of the country’s automakers. The new legislation has prompted automakers all over the world to focus their efforts on Pakistan. Guangzhou Automobile Company is one of them (GAC). SUPERPAK Engineering (PVT.) LTD is partnering with the company to bring it to Pakistan. They are going to introduce some CBU units of their vehicles in November this year.
The company has not verified GAC’s car lineup for Pakistan. However, here is the list of Vehicles, reports suggest that the company will display at the Pakistan Auto Show.
GAC GS3
The company is importing completely built Units of GS3 in Pakistan for testing. It’s a subcompact crossover SUV that goes up against the Kia Stonic, the DFSK Glory 500, and the MG ZS. As a modern, first-generation vehicle, the GS3 includes active headrests, airbags, blind-spot warning, Dynamic Stability Control (DSC), 360-degree camera. Additionally, Tire Pressure Monitoring System (TPMS), and traction control are among other features. However, there is no word from the company about GAC GS3 prices in Pakistan.
GAC GS4
The company plans to introduce a compact SUV in Pakistan. GAC GS4 is the top contender for the category. The GS4 SUV has nearly identical characteristics as the GS3 SUV, with the addition of an all-digital driver’s display unit, a modern infotainment unit, and a few driver assistance systems, including radar cruise control, lane-keeping assist, and autonomous emergency braking, and so on. However, the GAC GS4 price in Pakistan and the probable launch date are still confidential.
GAC GA4
GAC is also planning to bring a compact Sedan to Pakistan. We can expect that GA4 might showcase at the Pakistan Auto Show 2021. It will compete with Toyota Corolla, Honda Civic, and Hyundai Elantra. The modern features in the vehicle include an 8-inch touchscreen infotainment system, 360-degree camera, driver, passenger, side, and curtain airbags, blind-spot monitoring. Additionally, Vehicle Stability Control (VSC), TPMS, traction control, and cruise control, among others.
