In an unprecedented move, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa is set to start its matriculation examinations tomorrow, with a unique twist. Spearheaded by the BISE Peshawar Chairman, Professor Nasrullah Yousufzai, the province will witness all eight boards conducting the exams simultaneously, marking a first in its history.
The province-wide examinations will see participation from a staggering 881,000 students, including 305,108 female scholars. Under the BISE Peshawar alone, the count stands at 178,335 students, with 61,879 being female candidates.
To accommodate the massive number of examinees, the province has established 3,528 examination centers. In a bid to ensure a fair and transparent examination process, these centers are equipped with hidden cameras to deter any malpractices.
This unified approach to examinations, coupled with the same exam papers across all boards, underscores the province’s commitment to standardizing education. As Khyber Pakhtunkhwa steps into this new era of educational reform, the eyes of the nation are on the promising scholars ready to take on their matriculation exams tomorrow.
