Saudi Arabia accelerates its Hajj 1447 AH timeline. Starting February 8, 2026, the Ministry of Hajj and Umrah will open visa issuance to streamline global logistics. With 750,000 pilgrims already registered, officials urge pilgrims to complete biometrics and submit Nusuk data immediately to secure spots under Vision 2030’s digital transformation.
The Saudi Ministry of Hajj and Umrah officially opens Hajj visa issuance for the 2026 (1447 AH) season this Sunday, February 8. Authorities have already secured 100% of essential service contracts. This includes international transport, food catering, and health guidance. All Makkah accommodation agreements now run exclusively through the Nusuk digital platform. To date, the Ministry has allocated 485 specialized Hajj camps to house international delegations.
Hajj 2026 Registration Online
Current data shows approximately 750,000 pilgrims have completed their initial registration. Around 30,000 individuals have already booked direct packages from their home countries.
In Pakistan, the registration phase is nearing completion. The current breakdown includes:
- 119,000 Government Hajj Scheme pilgrims.
- 60,000 Private Hajj Scheme pilgrims.
Strict Nusuk Deadlines and Biometric Requirements
You must submit pilgrim data and group formations on the Nusuk Hajj platform immediately. The Ministry warns that visa issuance depends entirely on these digital submissions. Missing the deadline means visas will not be granted.
The national processing window in Pakistan and Bangladesh is opened on February 8. Majority of local deadlines fall between March 20. To ensure you are not delayed in processing, you are expected to complete your biometric registration through the Saudi Visa Bio application or Tasheer Centers before the start date of February 8.
Mandatory Health Checks and Oversight
A medical fitness certificate has become one of the main conditions of Hajj 2026. This action is in line with enhanced ministry control. Most recently Saudi Arabia has cut off 1,800 foreign Umrah agencies on the basis of quality of services they provide. This is an expression of a larger dedication towards the pilgrim safety and high-quality service standards.
