National Command and Control Centre confirms 58 deaths and 4,072 coronavirus cases in Pakistan

According to the latest data from the National Command and Control Center, confirmed coronavirus cases in Pakistan reached 4,072 on Wednesday.

According to the report, in the last 24 hours, 208 new cases of COVID-19 were reported across the country. So far 58 patients have died and 467 have recovered from the deadly virus.

In Sindh, 18 deaths were recorded, 16 in Punjab, KP stand s with 18, 3 in GB, 2 in Balochistan and one death in the federal capital confirmed.

As per the breakdown of the pandemic in Pakistan, Punjab remains the most effected the province with 2030. However 986 coronavirus cases have been recorded in Sindh till now.

It is said that 42% of the cases are from local transmission in the country while the rest are from foreign country visitors.

Over the past 24 hours, health authorities conducted 3,076 tests. Till now, 42,159 numbers of the test have done.

The worldwide number of officially confirmed deaths from novel coronavirus now exceeds 81,000.
