Free Sewing Machine Scheme 2026: How to Apply Under the PPP Program

PAKISTAN: The Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) has started distributing over 30,000 sewing machines to women, as part of their programme to empower women economically. The PPP Youth Secretary, Rawal Sharjeel Memon, launched this programme that aims to provide 33,000 sewing machines to low-income women who would like to earn an income by operating sewing machines.

According to Rawal Sharjeel Memon, the Chairman of the PPP, Bilawal Bhutto Zardari has given directions to establish projects that would help to empower women.

He said that he has launched a women’s sewing machine distribution programme and called it a very significant event in which 33,000 sewing machines will be distributed to women to give them employment and support their financial independence.

Additionally, he stated that efforts have been made to generate additional employment opportunities for women in the Hyderabad area, with a major focus on providing support and assistance to women in need.

According to Rawal Sharjeel Memon, all 33,000 sewing machines will be distributed throughout the Hyderabad Rural Taluka to create suitable employment for women from all socio-economic backgrounds.
