The COVID-19 is not just taking lives but also creating adverse impact on economy. Now, the shocking prediction came related to unemployment rate in Pakistan.

The unemployment rate in Pakistan can touch around 28% in coming days due to Coronavirus. The COVID-19 is affecting whole world with over half a million deaths in just 6 months. While the developed nations are more focused to overcome the deadly virus, several developing countries such as Pakistan are dealing with a two-front war � against poverty and virus.

Although the government is taking initiatives regarding the issue, but numbers are suggesting that they are not fully successful to deal with the damage.

However, according to the latest Gallup survey, 17 million people are feared to lose jobs because of Coronavirus related restrictions. The economy of Pakistan is already shrinking, as daily wagers lost work, but the threat is now far from over.

The survey analyzed that if the situation will not improve in a few weeks, then more people will lose their jobs, and it will take the unemployment rate to 28%. On the other side, number of Coronavirus cases and deaths are constantly increasing in Pakistan that is also creating a challenging position for the health sector of Pakistan.
