Snapchat, Discord, Spotify, and several other online services went down yesterday. Pakistan, along with other regions globally faced the outage of some major internet services. The reason for sudden vast outage is related to Google Cloud.
The issue appears to take down a large portion of the internet almost immediately. The problem seems to affect services ranging from Etsy to Pokemon Go, Target to Fitbit. The problem then seemed to get fix as quickly as they return to normal approximately half an hour of outage.
Google Cloud, Amazon, Snapchat, Discord, Etsy, and other services were all hit by an outage on Tuesday that lasted just under an hour. The cause of the outage was Google Cloud. As the company’s status page indicating that a networking issue is causing issues, which result in 404 errors on the affected pages.
Users of all the Snapchat, Discord, Spotify and others took to Social Media when their favorite Apps were unavailable. However, the online entertainment services informed the users about the outage through their official Twitter handle. The issue resolved within half an hour.
Not very long ago, Facebook, WhatsApp, and Instagram also went down due to an internal error. The services were unavailable for several hours sending users into frenzy.
