BISE DG Khan Khan Wednesday announced intermediate annual examination result 2018, showing 67.24 pass percentage.
A total of 44,279 candidates appeared in the examination, of whom, 29,775 were declared successful, controller examinations Chaudhry Mushtaq Ali said.
Chairman BISE DG Khan Dr Muhammad Shafiq said that merit and transparency were being ensured and positions went to those who deserved it.
PTI MNA Zartaj Gull, who attended the ceremony as guest of honour, distributed medals, laptop computers, certificates and cash prizes along with board officials among the position holders.
Speaking on the occasion, she said that education was the only way forward to compete at the international level.
She said that youth hold the future of the country in their hands and the government was paying full attention to provide them with better education facilities at their doorstep.
She asked teachers to also pay attention to the character building of the students in addition to their formal education and congratulated the position holders on their achievement.
